• $13,081.00on phone calls
Supporting Helen Kerwin in House District 58.
Total: $27,732.28.
That’s not speculation.
That’s not spin.
That’s public record.
And it happened on one date.

Now before the comment section explodes:
This is legal.
It’s an independent expenditure. It does NOT mean Kerwin received a check. It does NOT automatically mean coordination.
But let’s not pretend it means nothing.
Political committees don’t drop nearly $28,000 into a rural House race for fun. They do it because something matters.
So What Matters?
Texas is becoming ground zero for AI infrastructure and data centers.
Data centers need:
• Massive power
• Cooling systems
• Often significant water
• Industrial-scale regulatory certainty
And when those projects don’t land in major cities, they land in counties.
Counties like Johnson.
Counties like Somervell.
Rural land is cheaper.
Zoning is lighter.
Resistance is quieter.
Unless people ask questions.
Here Are The Questions
• How much groundwater will be used?
• Will closed-loop cooling be required?
• Will PFAS “forever chemical” fire suppression foam be used?
• Will baseline well testing happen before construction?
• Who pays if something contaminates an aquifer?
Those aren’t activist questions.
