Tonya's deeply rooted in Johnson County, having been with our station since day one alongside her dear friend and Founder, the late, great, Pam Masters (that's 14 years!). This woman's got a contagious laugh and a real passion for spreading positivity, but she's not afraid to keep it real. Buckle up, because Tonya's here to inspire and make you smile!
Coralee: Tenacious Swimpreneur & Squirrel Wrangler
This Canadian-turned-Texan is as ambitious as she is fun-loving. A single mom of 2 + a bonus son, CL isn't afraid to jump in (pun intended!). From volunteer extraordinaire to successful entrepreneur, to fearless swim leader, CL keeps her head above the water as the North Region Manager for Sigma Swim, an ages 2-92 swim program focused on drowning prevention and aquatic lessons as well as competitive swim. For CL, the pool is a place where everyone belongs, regardless of age, ability, or background. It's a community and that's what makes her heart splash!
When she's not by the pool, you might find her on a remote work adventure kayaking deep in the heart of Texas, or getting lost in the beauty of the Canadian mountains with her favorite gal pals. A talented artist and "mostly retired" interior designer, CL speaks volumes without a single word leaving her mouth…you can see it all in her photos!
So, if you're looking for a vivacious, big-hearted leader with an artistic side hustle, look no further than CL! Just don't expect her to be still for long - this is one Canadian (soon to be an American!!!) who's always on the go!
